When the IMPAX Client is integrated with the IMPAX RIS and the IMPAX RIS TEXTAREA.QDOC_SHORTCUTS, TEXTAREA.QPLSNNER_SHORTCUTS, and TEXTAREA.QPORDER_SHORTCUTS parameters are enabled, you can access the IMPAX RIS directly from the Client. This is useful if you want to access specific IMPAX RIS functionality that is not available in the Client.
 | Note: There is no automatic synchronization between IMPAX and the IMPAX RIS. If you open an order or patient in the IMPAX RIS and then navigate to another order or patient in either application, the other is not updated. |
To access the IMPAX RIS from the IMPAX Client
Open a study that has an existing report.
In the details pane, expand the Text area.
If the Order panel is contracted, click the Order bar to expand it.
Select a shortcut to open QpOrder:
To open the current order in QpOrder, click

Select a shortcut to open QPlanner:
To open the current order in QPlanner, click
