To change the Application Server or authentication used by an IMPAX Client
On the IMPAX Client workstation, navigate to C:\Program Files\AGFA\IMPAX Client\<version-number>.
Where <version-number> is the version of the Client you have installed.
Double-click impax-client-configure.exe.
In the Application Server field, enter the URL (including the fully qualified domain name) of the new Application Server.
To change how the user authenticates to IMPAX, select one of the following:
IMPAX Authentication—user logs into the IMPAX Client separately from Windows.
Windows Authentication—user logs into the IMPAX Client automatically after logging into Windows or can log in with a generic IMPAX smart card.
NHS Smart Card Authentication—user logs into the IMPAX Client with a smart card in the National Health Service (NHS) environment only.
Click Save.
Click Close.
![]() | Note: If you have changed the load balancer that the Client points to but the Application Server behind the load balancer is the same, the configurations for the user are maintained. If you have moved to a different Application Server, you must reconfigure the settings for any users that work on that Client station. |
