How feed worklists are populated

When importing a RIS feed worklist in the List area, only studies for which images exist in IMPAX are displayed. If the RIS query returns studies not known in IMPAX, these are not displayed in the resulting worklist.

The worklist results show up to 100 studies. This limit is applied to the RIS database query, not to the result returned in the List area. For example, if the query returns 150 studies, 80 of which have corresponding images in IMPAX. The RIS query only takes the first 100 studies out of the 150. Out of these 100 studies, 60 have images. 60 studies are displayed in the worklist instead of 80.

When the Only show one study per request/dictation/report checkbox is cleared, reports linked to multiple exams returns duplicate rows for the exams.

Characteristics of feed worklists

RIS feed worklists have the following characteristics:

• Cannot be combined with the Set aside functionality. When importing (or immediately cycling) a feed worklist, all current studies in the List area's Search list and Image area are cleared, including set-aside studies.

• Do not function in combination with relevancy filters.

• Resulting worklist is a search worklist, with different functionality than a regular worklist.

• Active worklist in Image area is always cleared with a new RIS query.

• When cycled, a feed worklist automatically opens the images, as opposed to sign-off worklists.

• User are not asked to suspend an ongoing dictation when cycling studies from the a feed worklist.

• If the feed worklist window is open, no other actions can be performed in the Client.

• For configuring the filters, administrators can start the feed worklist as a separate module outside of the Client to do the setup. You cannot use impersonation to set up filters.

• The Add results to last search checkbox in the List area does not apply to feed worklists.
