When opening the Text area, the user selects a primary study to display. This study is known as the source study. The Study List is populated based on the following logic:
If the global patient ID field is blank, the Study List is populated with all the studies where the patient ID matches the source study's patient ID.
If the global patient ID field is not blank, the Study List is populated with all the studies where the patient ID or the global patient ID matches the source study's patient ID and global patient ID.
 | Note: If enterprise queries are enabled, the user can search the enterprise for more studies. Queries are constrained only on global patient ID, if the source study's global patient ID field is not empty. |
