If you make changes to RIS mappings in Connectivity Manager, you must restart the HL7 interfaces to have the changes take effect.
 | CAUTION! If you restart the HL7 interface in Connectivity Manager, you may lose the Information System connection, affecting modality worklist queries and HIS verification. Do not restart the interface without permission from the site. |
To restart the HL7 interface
To open Connectivity Manager, from the computer's desktop, double-click IMPAX Connectivity Service Tools and log in.
Click Device.
Click Real World Devices.
For each HL7 Class device you changed, select it and click Re/Start.
The interface is restarted.
