After installing the IMPAX Client workstation, it may be necessary to change the way users are authenticated. Follow these procedures to change the workstation's authentication method.
 | Note: These steps must be performed on each IMPAX Client workstation that requires the change. |
To change the IMPAX Client user authentication method
On the Client workstation, navigate to C:\Program Files\AGFA\IMPAX Client\6.5.0.XXX.
Double-click impax-client-configure.exe.
Under Authentication, select the new authentication method.
To log into the Client separately from Windows, select IMPAX Authentication. (If unsure, use IMPAX Authentication.)
To log into the Client automatically after logging into Windows, select Windows Authentication.
To log into the Client with a smart card, select Smart Card Authentication.
Note:
For configuration purpose, at least one Client in the site must be installed with IMPAX Authentication.
Click Save.
Click Close.
